Common name

Description

Rhizome climbing; rhizome scales brownish red, lanceolate in outline, peltate at the base, margins entire, cells elongated, thin-walled, reddish. Fronds simple, dimorphic, subcoracious. Sterile frond 25-30 x 2-4 cm, lanceolate, stipe winged. Sterile lamina lanceolate in outline, narrowed at the base, apex pointed, margins entire, wavy; costa raised on the underside; veins visible, simple or forked at the base; lower surface of the lamina glabrous or with few scattered small scales. Fertile frond, petiolate, longer than the sterile, narrowly linear in outline, entirely covered on the underside by the sporangia.
